Meet the Research Team!

The coming year is going to be a very exciting period for the Zero Carbon Britain project.

We are entering the third phase of research, with a brand new team. We'll be conducting research over the next 12 months, building on the knowledge, feedback and networks we have gained to date, in order to develop a new, up-dated and more detailed Zero Carbon Britain - amongst some other exciting new plans!

Zero Carbon Britain recognised as ‘inspirational’ in RenewableUK’s inaugural Energy Awards

The Centre for Alternative Technology’s pioneering project Zero Carbon Britain has been recognised in RenewableUK’s first Energy Awards

Zero Carbon Britain received the Renewables Campaigner Award, which recognises “campaigning excellence and leadership in winning public support for renewable energy.” The project, which is now entering a new phase of research, provides a clear policy framework for rapidly decarbonising the UK.

RenewableUK described the project as “an inspirational movement for change in the UK,” celebrating its positive, practical message in a ceremony in London.
